PECO Utility Improvement Begins Next Week on Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia

Lane closures

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will begin utility construction next week on Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia.

On Monday, November 13, through Friday, December 8, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a weeknight lane closure is scheduled on Germantown Avenue between Route 611 (Broad Street) and Erie Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
