PECO Utility Improvement Begins in Lower Merion Township

LOWER MERION TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will begin utility construction this week on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Wynnewood Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.

The work schedules and locations are:

  • Wednesday, January 11, through Friday, February 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Wynnewood Road and Chatham Road; and
  • Wednesday, January 11, through Friday, February 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Wynnewood Road between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Penn Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
