Overhead Sign Inspections Scheduled on I-95, I-76 in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that overhead sign inspections are scheduled on Interstate 95 and Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Philadelphia.

The work schedules and locations are:

  • Tuesday, January 17, through Thursday, January 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, alternating moving lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-76 between the Montgomery Avenue and Passyunk Avenue interchanges; and
  • Thursday, January 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, moving right lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Broad Street and Academy Road/Linden Avenue interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
