NYPD Links Shooting of PPA Worker in Philadelphia to Bronx Sunoco Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department has been told by the NYPD that the shooting of a Philadelphia Parking Authority worker on November 25, 2022, might be connected to a shooting that happened on November 22, 2022, in Bronx, NY.

The New York shooting occurred on the 2200 block of Boston Road in Bronx, NY. In that incident, a Sunoco gas station employee was shot in the head by an unknown male.

The individual(s) being sought for these shootings is/are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information is asked to call Philadelphia’s Shooting Investigations Group (SIG) at 215-686-8270 or 215-686-TIPS (8477), or NYPD Tips at 1(800)577-TIPS.

The City of Philadelphia and The Philadelphia Parking Authority have pooled resources to offer a reward of $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the male depicted.

The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the appropriate authorities.
