HARRISBURG, PA — Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that Domonique Taylor, of Braddock, pleaded guilty to felony drug trafficking, gun possession, and money laundering charges and will serve up to 24 years in prison.
An Allegheny County Court Judge sentenced Taylor, 39, to 12 to 24 years in prison on Thursday.
In March 2022, the Office of Attorney General, along with local law enforcement partners, executed search warrants at Taylor’s property and seized drugs, guns, vehicles, and over $545,000 in cash.
“This was one of the largest seizures of fentanyl we have had in Pennsylvania, and we hope this significant sentence sends a message to anyone peddling these poisons in our neighborhoods,” Attorney General Henry said. “This investigation is also a reminder that drug traffickers use guns to protect their trade, and every one of those weapons is a direct threat to public safety. Thanks to strong collaboration with local law enforcement, Domonique Taylor’s days of dealing deadly substances are over.”
In total, agents seized the following from Taylor’s home and garage: approximately 14 kilograms, or 700,000 individual doses of fentanyl; 288 grams of cocaine; marijuana; 11 vehicles; six firearms; and $545,738 in cash.
The street value of the fentanyl alone was $1.4 million. Taylor is a convicted felon, and therefore, was not legally allowed to possess firearms.
The Office of Attorney General was assisted in this investigation by the Monroeville, Penn Hills, Elizabeth Township, Munhall, and Wilkinsburg Police Departments.
