PHILADELPHIA, PA — Brunch plans just got a serious caffeine boost.
Northern Liberties is once again raising a glass — and a shaker — as America’s largest Espresso Martini Crawl returns on Saturday, March 14, just in time for National Espresso Martini Day. From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., more than 20 bars, restaurants, cafés, and retailers across the neighborhood will serve up specially priced espresso martinis ranging from $8 to $12.
Now in its third year, the crawl has become one of the district’s biggest seasonal celebrations, drawing an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 people in a single day. Organized by the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, the event is designed to spotlight the neighborhood’s thriving cocktail and brunch scene.
“Northern Liberties is excited to host America’s largest Espresso Martini Crawl again this year — with our largest line-up of bars, restaurants and drink selections ever,” said Executive Director Sydney Rexroad. “This event was designed to showcase our District’s thriving and expert cocktail and brunch scene.”
Participating favorites include Standard Tap, Urban Village Brewing, Yards Brewing, Silk City, The Goat’s Beard, Mia Ragazza, Chabaa Thai Bistro, Jerry’s Bar, and many more along North 2nd Street, North 3rd Street, and surrounding blocks. Expect everything from classic three-bean garnishes to over-the-top creations featuring tequila, bourbon, peppermint mocha, peanut butter, and even cheese-inspired twists.
Beyond the bars, the crawl spills into retail and beauty experiences. Milk Jawn will debut an exclusive espresso martini-inspired ice cream. Madison K Cookies is baking themed sweets. Ray’s Reusables will offer espresso martini-scented shower steamers. The C-Room Nails and Spa and Ends Hair Design are creating coffee-inspired glam packages just for the day.
For Chester County residents, it’s an easy train ride or drive into the city — and a lively way to kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with friends.
