WILMINGTON, DE — The Delaware State Police announced they are investigating an armed home invasion robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning in North Wilmington.
According to Authorities, on September 5, 2023, at approximately 2:15 a.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 2000 block of Silverside Road, Wilmington, for a home invasion robbery. The ensuing investigation revealed that three suspects had entered the residence from an unsecured rear door and confronted two sleeping victims inside. The suspects demanded money from the victims while one of the suspects pointed a firearm. The victims complied, and the suspects fled from the home with an undisclosed amount of cash and property.
No one in the home was injured. The suspects are described as tall black males wearing dark-colored clothing and face masks. There is no surveillance footage available at this time.
Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is still investigating this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective D.
