MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that nighttime bridge repair work will take place next week on Interstate 295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County. The scheduled maintenance aims to ensure the continued integrity and safety of the interstate infrastructure.
Beginning Monday, December 2, and extending through Thursday, December 5, a single lane closure will be implemented nightly on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1. The restrictions will be in effect from 9:00 PM each evening until 5:00 AM the following morning. The lane closure will allow construction crews to conduct bridge repair activities safely and efficiently.
Drivers traveling through the area are advised to anticipate potential delays and increased travel times while the work is underway. PennDOT encourages motorists to approach the work zone with caution and plan ahead to minimize inconvenience. To further aid commuters, PennDOT has indicated that all scheduled construction activities are contingent on favorable weather conditions and may be subject to change.
