Man Arrested With Loaded Handgun and Crack Cocaine

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of 46-year-old Anthony Brown on gun and drug charges.

Authorities stated that on February 17, at approximately 1:32 p.m., members of Wilmington’s Uniformed Services Division responded to the 400 block of Allens Alley, in reference to suspicious activity. Officers made contact with 46-year-old Anthony Brown, who was taken into custody without incident. Police recovered a loaded .25-caliber handgun, and 32 grams of crack cocaine.

Brown has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited

He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
