WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges.
Authorities state that on July 19 at approximately 11:37 p.m., officers on patrol were in the 300 block of West 7th Street when they attempted to make contact with 30-year-old Lamar Seth. Seth attempted to flee on foot into a nearby residence. Police were able to quickly take Seth into custody and recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, .063 grams of heroin, and 1 gram of marijuana.
Seth was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Burglary 1st Degree
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Marijuana
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $8,750 cash-only bail.
