Man Ambushed and Robbed After Suspects Come Up From Behind

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a brutal robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, on March 12, 2023, at approximately 10:12 pm, the victim was walking at 12th Street and Girard Avenue when he was punched from behind by Suspect #1. The victim’s head hit a nearby wall, causing him to lose consciousness. Suspects #2 and #3 then took the victim’s money and cell phone before leaving the area. The 62-year-old male victim was transported to Temple Hospital where he was treated for multiple fractures to his face, as well as bleeding on the brain.
