PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects who robbed a gas station at gunpoint.
The incident occurred on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 7:23 pm at 2300 Ridge Ave. The victim was pumping gas when an unknown black male approached him with a gun and demanded cash. When the victim asked if he could keep his student ID, the suspect responded “just give me the cash.” The suspect then fled the scene in a waiting white Ford Focus and was last seen west on Cecil B Moore Ave.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 19-20 years of age, 5’11”-6’0″ tall, with a heavy build and dark complexion. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants, and was armed with a handgun with an extended magazine. The second suspect is described as a black male, 19-20 years of age, with a short afro and wearing a white shirt and shorts.
