WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of a male juvenile in connection to a June robbery.
The 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with Robbery (First Degree), Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy (Second Degree).
According to the criminal complaint, on June 19, at 10:55 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1100 block of North Franklin Street, in reference to an armed robbery. The case was assigned to Detective Brendan Wham of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Wham identified a 17-year-old male juvenile as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On August 9, police executed a search warrant in the 600 block of North Walnut Street, and took the 17-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident.
The male juvenile was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and committed to the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center pending further proceedings.
