DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled maintenance on Tanguy Road/Creek Road and Barren Road in Delaware County.
From Monday, August 26, to Friday, August 30, Tanguy Road/Creek Road will close from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Thornbury Township for base repairs. The closure stretches between Dilworthtown Road and Route 926 (Street Road). Motorists will follow detours via Dilworthtown Road, Glen Mills Road, Cheyney Road, and other local routes.
Simultaneously, Barren Road will be closed between Ridley Creek Road and Painter Road in Middletown Township for pipe replacement. Detour routes include Ridley Creek Road, Rose Tree Road, and Middletown Road.
Local access will be maintained, but drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time. Weather conditions may affect scheduling.
