Local Trail Improvement Project Continues on U.S. 202 in Bridgeport Borough

Travel Restrictions

BRIDGEPORT, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a local trail improvement project will continue on U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street) in Bridgeport Borough, Montgomery County.

The following travel restriction is scheduled:

  • Monday, December 19, through Friday, December 23, a 24/7 lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street) between 4th Street and the Dekalb Street Bridge over the Schuylkill River.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

This county-owned project consists of improving mobility for the traveling public along the Chester Valley Trail.
