PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Little Saint Nick Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing joy and support to children in crisis, has announced a landmark collaboration with Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. The partnership, which aims to uplift the spirits of young patients across the country, was officially launched in Philadelphia in March.

The collaboration kicked off with the distribution of 500 Little St. Nick Gift Bags to patients at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. These bags, filled with toys and gifts, were personally handed out by representatives from the Little Saint Nick Foundation, in conjunction with Jazwares, LLC, the manufacturer of Squishmallows.

Among the recipients was a young girl named Awesome, originally from Nigeria and undergoing treatment at Shriner’s for several months. According to Raymond Mohler, Jr., founder of the Little Saint Nick Foundation, seeing the joy on Awesome’s face upon receiving her gift bag underscored the importance of their mission. Another recipient, Emmalee, who is being treated for clubbed feet, described the gift bag as “an amazing thing that is making a difference.”

The foundation expanded its reach to Los Angeles in June, delivering 300 gift bags to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Pasadena. Their Los Angeles team also had the opportunity to tour the hospital’s facilities, further deepening their understanding of the hospital’s work and the needs of its patients.

In September, the Los Angeles team joined forces with The Daughters of Charity Organization and Saint Vincent’s Meals on Wheels for a St. Nick Gift Bag Packing Event. Together, they assembled 1,000 gift bags and inspirational cards for children at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Pasadena and White Memorial Hospital. The month concluded with the donation of an additional 100 gift bags by the Little Saint Nick Foundation’s Philadelphia chapter, which were packaged by participants of The Philadelphia All-Star Festival.

“This partnership with Shriner’s Children’s Hospital marks a monumental step in our journey,” said Mr. Mohler. “We are thrilled to continue expanding its positive impact throughout North America. Both our organizations remain committed to bringing smiles, joy, and support to children in hospitals, one St. Nick Gift Bag at a time.”

The Little Saint Nick Foundation continues to strive towards its mission of making a positive impact on the lives of sick and injured children across the globe.
