BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Construction is scheduled on Sunday night, October 1, on U.S. 1 and Street Road (Route 132) in Bensalem Township under a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) project to reconstruct, widen, and improve U.S. 1 in Bucks County.
On Sunday, October 1, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, alternating rolling lane closures are planned in both directions on U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway and Rockhill Drive for line painting; and
Additionally, on Sunday October 1, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, alternating rolling lane closures are planned in both directions on Street Road (Route 132) between Kingston Way and Old Lincoln Highway for line painting.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
