Lincoln Financial is one of only seven honorees in the Financial Services industry and 135 honorees total – spanning 19 countries and 46 industries.

“Our focus on doing what’s right is the foundation of our culture and our success at Lincoln,” said Craig Beazer, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Lincoln Financial Group. “It is an honor to be recognized by Ethisphere and a testament to our employees and the work they do every single day, serving our customers with care and integrity.”

Ethisphere’s 2023 Ethics Index, the collection of publicly traded companies recognized as recipients of this year’s World’s Most Ethical Companies designation, outperformed a comparable index of large-cap companies by 13.6 percentage points over a five-year period.

Grounded in Ethisphere’s proprietary Ethics Quotient®, the World’s Most Ethical Companies assessment process includes more than 200 questions on culture, environmental and social practices, ethics and compliance activities, governance, diversity, and initiatives that support a strong value chain. The process serves as an operating framework to capture and codify the leading practices of organizations across industries and around the globe.

“We have a deep and enduring legacy of acting ethically, telling the truth and speaking up for what is right – three critical components of who we are as an organization,” said Steve Harris, SVP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, Lincoln Financial Group. “Strong ethics builds a healthy culture, attracts better talent, and bolsters the bottom line. We are proud to be recognized for the second consecutive year and we remain committed to defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices in everything we do.”
