Lawn Avenue Closure: Major Traffic Disruption in Bucks County

Travel Restrictions

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the temporary closure of Lawn Avenue in Sellersville Borough and West Rockhill Township for essential base repairs. Starting Thursday, September 5, through Thursday, September 12, the road will be closed to traffic from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays.

During this period, motorists will need to follow a detour utilizing Maple Avenue/Cathill Road, Bethlehem Pike, and Route 563 (Ridge Road). Local access will be permitted up to the work zone, allowing residents to reach their homes.

PennDOT advises drivers to plan for extra travel time due to expected delays and traffic congestion in the area. As always, the schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to stay informed of any updates to avoid inconvenience.
