Lane Closures Announced for Safety Improvement Work in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced ongoing curb and sidewalk construction as part of a local safety improvement project along U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) and Grant Avenue in Philadelphia.

To facilitate the project, weekday lane closures will be in effect through Wednesday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Affected areas include northbound U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) between Grant Avenue and Carteret Drive, as well as Grant Avenue between U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) and Torresdale Avenue.

Motorists traveling in these areas are advised to anticipate delays and allow extra time for their commute. PennDOT has emphasized that all scheduled activities are weather-dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
