MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced planned stormwater improvements that will close a lane on Highland Avenue in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

The closure is scheduled from Monday, July 1, through Wednesday, July 3, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The affected section of Highland Avenue spans from Avenue F to Hulmeville Road. The work involves paving as part of the stormwater infrastructure upgrade.

Motorists should expect backups and delays and are advised to allow extra travel time when passing through the area. The schedule depends on weather conditions and may change if necessary.

Highway Materials, Inc., based in Flourtown, Montgomery County, is managing the project, which is funded entirely by state resources.

Drivers are urged to stay alert and exercise caution while navigating the work zone. These improvements are aimed at enhancing road safety and infrastructure in Bucks County.
