HATBORO, PA — KMM Group, Ltd., a precision machining and grinding company, has announced the receipt of its permanent occupancy certificate for its new manufacturing facility in Hatboro, PA. This achievement is a significant step towards the company’s growth and expansion plans, with a complete relocation to the new facility scheduled for early January.
Despite numerous challenges, including extended delays, the company demonstrated resilience and adaptability. “Our team worked tirelessly to stay close to our initial 2023 sales target of $20M,” said CEO John Shegda.
The new facility spans nearly 100,000 square feet and includes over 100 milling, turning, grinding, and EDM machines. It also features an ISO Class 8 cleanroom, 4,000 sq. ft. of dedicated R&D space, tech-smart conference rooms, an employee gym, a modern cafeteria, quality control areas, and an automation sandbox.
Shegda views the new facility as more than just a physical merger of companies. “It’s a place where science meets manufacturing, blending cutting-edge technology with our deep industry expertise to unlock solutions that drive progress,” he stated.
With this move, KMM aims for a 20% growth in 2024 and plans to celebrate its expansion with a grand opening, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and VIP open house in Spring 2024.
