Jazz Icons Norman Brown and Euge Groove Bring Soulful Sounds to Rivers Casino Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Enjoy the smooth and soulful sounds of Grammy-winning guitarist Norman Brown and chart-topping saxophonist Euge Groove when they take The Event Center stage on Friday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 and go on sale Friday, Aug. 27.

Brown, whose “Just Chillin’” album earned him the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album, is known for his fusion of jazz, R&B, pop and blues. Meanwhile, Groove has over a dozen No. 1 hits, including “Slam Dunk,” “Rewind,” and “Get Em Goin’,” and has toured with many musical greats including Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tina Turner.

“We’re thrilled to have Norman Brown and Euge Groove at Rivers this fall,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “These two incredible musicians are just a few of the many outstanding jazz performers we have coming to the casino this year.”

The Brown and Groove event is Rivers’ second jazz show announced this summer, and it will follow the Dave Koz & Friends performance set for Friday, Sept. 17, at 8 p.m. Tickets for both shows can be purchased at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia.

Masks are required for all guests and Team Members, per guidelines from the city of Philadelphia. Rivers Casino Philadelphia states it is not requiring proof of vaccination at this time, but continues to follow all city, state and CDC health and safety protocols.
