ITS Construction Begins Next Week on U.S. 202 South in Montgomery Township

Dinniman: $2.5 Million for Chester County Transportation Projects

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) construction will begin next week on southbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) in Montgomery Township, Montgomery County.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Monday, March 20, through Thursday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure will be in place weekdays on southbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Knapp Road and Gwynmont Drive.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
