SOLEBURY TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a schedule for pipe replacement work in Solebury Township, Bucks County, necessitating road closures and detours that may impact local traffic flow. This crucial infrastructure maintenance is set to commence next week, with specific road sections closed during daytime hours to facilitate the work.

On Tuesday, September 24, Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Aquetong Road will be closed between Carversville Road and Greenhill Road. Motorists will be rerouted through Carversville Road, Route 413 (Durham Road), Route 263 (York Road/Upper York Road), and Greenhill Road to ensure continued access. Additionally, on Wednesday, September 25, Mechanicsville Road will be inaccessible between Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road during the same hours, with drivers directed to utilize Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road as alternative routes.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the project, but drivers should anticipate potential delays and plan accordingly to mitigate any inconvenience. PennDOT emphasizes that all operations are weather-dependent and subject to change based on environmental conditions.
