Investigation Underway After Bristol Shooting Leaves 1 Wounded

BENSALEM, PA — A gunshot investigation is underway after a 27-year-old Bensalem man was wounded in Bristol Borough early Sunday morning.

Bristol Borough Police announced that on June 6, 2021, at approximately 12:30 am, officers were dispatched to Lower Bucks Hospital where a male self-admitted himself for a gunshot wound to the leg. The 27-year-old Bensalem man stated to police that he was in a parking lot on Farragut Avenue when he was shot. The alleged victim could provide no details on the actors involved or any details that lead up to the shooting.

Authorities state further investigation resulted in conflicting accounts of the event by the victim. Anyone with information regarding the alleged incident is asked to contact Bristol Borough Police Department’s Det. Davis at 215-788-7813 ext 2425.
