TREVOSE, PA — International SOS has announced it recenlty hired retired Vice President and Chief Security Officer of The Boeing Company, Dave Komendat, as their new Senior Security Advisor. He will be responsible for working with clients to solve complex challenges, including the areas of travel risk management, business continuity, event security, and threat intelligence.

Prior to joining International SOS, Komendat spent 36 years with The Boeing Company, leading one of the world’s largest and most complex security organizations within the industry. Komendat also led the Boeing interface for both national and international security policy engagement with numerous government and industry advisory groups. He represented Boeing as a past co-chairman and current board member on the Domestic Security Alliance Council and served as a member of the Threats and Information Committee for the Overseas Security Advisory Council.
Komendat currently holds several board leadership roles for non-profits with the mission to protect people globally. After retiring from The Boeing Company, Komendat started his own firm, DSKomendat Risk Management Services, with the goal of sharing the lessons, experiences, and knowledge of leading at the highest levels within the security profession with others.
