WILMINGTON, DE — InterDigital, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC), a renowned player in the telecommunications industry, has recently appointed Ken Kaskoun as its new Chief Growth Officer. This strategic move is aimed at boosting the company’s growth and expansion in emerging areas like video and cloud services.
Kaskoun, who has an impressive dual background as an engineer and lawyer, will report directly to Liren Chen, InterDigital’s President and Chief Executive Officer. With a track record of creating long-term growth strategies for technology research and licensing companies, Kaskoun is well-suited for his new role.
Before joining InterDigital, Kaskoun was the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at SomaLogic, a life sciences company. However, his roots lie deep in the telecommunications sector, having spent 15 years at Qualcomm in various roles related to intellectual property. In his last stint at Qualcomm, he served as Vice President of the Strategy and Analysis team in Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL).
Chen expressed confidence in Kaskoun’s ability to drive InterDigital’s growth initiatives. “Ken’s experience makes him an excellent fit as InterDigital’s Chief Growth Officer,” said Chen. “With InterDigital’s strong financial performance, our licensing momentum, and our focus on growth in areas such as video and cloud services, we are ideally positioned to capitalize on new prospects and deliver even greater shareholder value.”

Kaskoun’s qualifications include a BSEE from Old Dominion University and a JD from the University of San Diego. He is also a member of the State Bar of California and holds over 30 granted patents and pending applications.
