I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West Brief Lane Closure Thursday Morning in Philadelphia

Lane Restrictions

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Westbound Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) motorists will experience a brief right lane closure between the 30th Street and the Interstate 676 (Vine Street Expressway) interchanges in Philadelphia on Wednesday, December 29, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, for bridge inspection, announced the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

PennDOT states that the inspections are part of its program to inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
