Hit-and-Run Under Investigation in Lancaster County

LITITZ, PA — The Lititz Borough Police Department report that they continue to investigate a hit-and-run crash that occurred on December 22, 2021, around 12:47 PM, at the intersection of South Broad Street (PA 501) and E/W Sixth Street.

Authorities state that an unknown vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle ahead of it as that vehicle was slowing in the travel lane. Both vehicles pulled off the roadway and each driver exited their vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle got back into his vehicle and left the scene when the driver of the vehicle that was struck said they were calling the police. The striking vehicle is described as a black-colored Mitsubishi SUV. No injuries were reported.
