Help Catch the Killer: Philadelphia PD Seeks Identity of Shooter

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit announced they are looking to identify the male and vehicle in a released video compilation as part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting death of a 37-year-old male shot outside of 1600 S. 53rd Street.

The perpetrator arrives in what is believed to be a newer model Nissan Sentra, possibly having a gray or metalic color. The suspect exits the front passenger seat and approaches the property as if to enter. It is at that time that he turns and shoots the decedent at close range. The offender runs back to the vehicle and the operator flees south on 53rd Street.
