PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are requesting public assistance to identify a man believed to have fired a gun multiple times into an occupied building. Although no injuries were reported, the suspect remains at large.
Detective Dunne with the Central Detectives Division states that on May 31, 2023, at approximately 1:53 am, the suspect fired a handgun several times into an occupied building on the 3300 block of Ridge Avenue. Nine .40 caliber fired cartridge casings and one projectile was recovered. No injuries were reported.
The perpetrator is described as a black male with a thin build and goatee. He is wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers.
