DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has outlined plans for significant resurfacing work on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) and Chester Creek Road, aimed at improving road quality and safety in Delaware County.
From Sunday, September 22, to Friday, September 27, motorists will encounter alternating lane closures on U.S. 202 between the Delaware State line and Oakland Road in Concord and Chadds Ford townships. This work, scheduled from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night, involves milling and paving operations.
Additionally, on Chester Creek Road, lane closures with flagging will be in place from Monday, September 23, to Wednesday, September 25, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, affecting the stretch between Lincoln Drive and Bridgewater Road in Brookhaven Borough.
