Goshen Road Pipe Replacement: Plan Your Route Ahead to Avoid Delays

Expect Traffic Delays in Chester County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacement is scheduled on Goshen Road in Newtown Township, Delaware County.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a road closure is scheduled on Goshen Road between Boot Road and Route 252 (Newtown Street Road). During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 252 (Newtown Street Road), Route 3 (West Chester Pike), and Boot Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
