AUDUBON, PA — Globus Medical Inc., a leading medical device company, announced this week the promotion of Keith Pfeil to the dual role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Pfeil has been serving as the company’s CFO since August 2019. In his expanded role, he will be instrumental in driving the company’s strategic roadmap through business and operational planning, as well as managing financial performance. He will oversee daily operations and lead efforts to achieve annual business plans, ensuring robust growth and profitability.

His responsibilities will also include overseeing all finance activities and representing the organization to external stakeholders. Pfeil’s promotion comes at a pivotal time, as Globus Medical continues its integration process following a merger with NuVasive.

“Keith has demonstrated operational and financial leadership and a deep passion for our business,” said Dan Scavilla, president and CEO of Globus Medical. “I am confident he will help us unlock operational efficiency, deliver the next phase of profitable growth, and ensure a successful transition through our ongoing integration.”

Pfeil brings over 20 years of high-performance industry experience to his new role, including four years with Globus. His appointment as COO, in addition to his CFO duties, reflects his significant contributions to the company’s growth and success.

“I am excited to take on the role of COO as Globus continues to build on the momentum we have created to transform our industry and change more patient lives around the globe,” said Pfeil. “I look forward to continuing to work with our board of directors, Dan, and the executive leadership team to further realize our growth potential.”
