Expect Lane Closures in Parkesburg Borough due to Utility Construction

Starting today, May 18, Pennsylvania American Water is set to begin its utility construction in Parkesburg Borough, Chester County, announced the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Weekday lane closures from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning until Friday, May 26, are expected on Route 372 (1st Avenue) stretching from West Street to Culvert Street in Parkesburg Borough, Chester County. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and use alternate routes if possible.

If you’re planning to travel through the work area, please keep in mind that backups and delays are likely to occur. As such, motorists are advised to budget extra time accordingly. Please note that all scheduled activities are subject to weather dependency, so please prepare accordingly.

Pennsylvania American Water will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
