East Lampeter Police Seek Public’s Help After Alleged Theft at Local Staples

LANCASTER, PA — The East Lampeter Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man captured in a surveillance photo, who is suspected of stealing a laptop from a local Staples store.

According to the police statement, the incident occurred on December 31, 2023, at approximately 11:10 AM at the Staples Office Supplies store located at 2350 Lincoln Hwy East. The male suspect is alleged to have selected a laptop from a display, valued at over $430.00, defeated a security cable, and concealed the device in a shopping bag. The individual reportedly exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the computer.

Authorities are urging anyone who may recognize the suspect or has information regarding this alleged crime to contact the East Lampeter Township Police Department at 717-291-4676 or submit a tip online.
