STEVENS, PA — East Cocalico Township Police announced they have arrested 35-year-old David Meck after responding to a burglary in progress on March 5, 2023.
The suspect, who has no known address, was charged with Burglary, Terroristic Threats, and Criminal Mischief. According to the police report, the homeowner was home at the time of the break-in and called authorities when she saw the suspect breaking into her house. The suspect reportedly caused property damage until officers arrived on the scene and took him into custody without incident. The homeowner and her children were unharmed. Meck was taken to a local hospital for the injuries to his face that occurred previous to the break-in
Meck was arraigned by Judge Heisse and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
