Early Morning Shooting on Carter Street: Wilmington Police Investigate, Victim in Stable Condition

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that took place this morning at around 5:15 a.m. and occurred in the 2300 block of Carter Street.

During the incident, a 28-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound and was subsequently transported to the hospital. His condition is currently reported as stable. At this time, authorities are withholding any further details about the victim as the investigation is ongoing.
