Drug Bust: Police Seize Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, and Make Arrest on West 4th Street

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of a wanted man on drug charges following an investigation.

The criminal complaint alleges that beginning in September, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 700 block of West 4th Street. On September 19, at approximately 3:15 p.m., officers conducted a vehicle stop in that block, and took 27-year-old Dre’Quille Brickhouse into custody without incident. Police recovered .049 grams of fentanyl, .3 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Brickhouse has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his active warrants:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $20,100 cash-only bail.
