Douglass Township Police Ask for Help in Identifying a Hit-and-Run Driver

BOYERTOWN, PA — The Douglass Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver.

Authorities stated that on Friday, February 24, 2023, at approximately 11:05 AM police officers were dispatched to Benjamin Franklin Hwy. at Squirrel Hollow Rd. for a motor vehicle crash. The striking vehicle, a silver Chevrolet Malibu with a New Jersey transit paper tag and operated by a black male, fled the scene and headed east toward Pottstown.
