Do You Know Him? Help ID Suspect in Fraudulent Prescriptions Investigation

MOUNTVILLE, PA — The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General states it is investigating fraudulent prescriptions that were electronically sent to Sloan’s Pharmacy on College Avenue, West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County.

Officials state that on June 16, 2022, two fraudulent prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy via e-script, purportedly written by Dr. Brent Brown from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pharmacy staff confirmed that Dr. Brown did not authorize these prescriptions; they could not confirm the patient Richard Carlson, from Columbia exists. On June 16, 2022, at approximately 3:49 PM, the pictured suspect attempted to pick up the fraudulent prescriptions. The pharmacy staff would not fill them; the suspect left the pharmacy and entered the rear passenger side of the pictured white Ford Fusion, bearing a partial Pennsylvania registration possibly ending in 5431.
