MIDDLETOWN, TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced two public meetings regarding the upcoming improvements to Route 352 and U.S. 1 in Middletown Township, Delaware County. The initiative aims to enhance travel and safety in the area.

A virtual public meeting is set for Thursday, September 19, at 7:00 PM. Participants can join via Microsoft Live Teams, where PennDOT’s design team will present project details and answer questions. Internet access is required for this session.

For those unable to attend online, an in-person meeting will take place on Thursday, September 26, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Middletown Township Administration Building. This open house format will allow attendees to view project displays and interact with the design team.

The project involves reconstructing and reconfiguring the interchanges at U.S. 1 with Route 352 and Baltimore Pike, as well as upgrading nearby intersections. PennDOT encourages public participation to gather feedback and address community concerns.
