PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Central Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department has called for public assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a burglary. The incident occurred on September 16, 2023, at around 4:30 pm.
The suspects, both unknown black males, reportedly gained unauthorized entry into a storage room of an apartment building located on the 1xx block of N 23rd Street. The entry was made through a side door.
Once inside, the suspects removed various appliances and flooring materials, loaded them onto a U-Haul, and fled the location in an unknown direction.
The first suspect is described as a black male wearing an orange and white hat, white t-shirt under a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants, and black and orange sneakers. The second suspect is also a black male who was seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, and gray sneakers.
The police department urges anyone with information about this crime or these suspects to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094. Detective Burnett is handling the investigation.
Members of the public are advised not to approach the suspects but to contact 911 immediately if they spot them. Tips can be submitted via telephone by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texting a tip to the same number. All tips will be kept confidential.
As the investigation continues, the Philadelphia Police Department is depending on public assistance to solve this crime and bring the suspects to justice.
