CAHME Announces New Leadership Appointments

SPRING HOUSE, PA — The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) has announced the appointment of three new leaders to its Board of Directors. Bankole (Banky) Olatosi will serve as Board Chair, Ronald Holder as Chair-elect, and David Nash as Secretary/Treasurer.

Bankole Olatosi, PhD, MPH, MS, FACHE, an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health, will take on the role of Board Chair. Olatosi has a Ph.D. in Health Services Policy and Management and is known for his contributions in data science, teaching, and research. His work has significantly impacted healthcare management education globally. “It is a privilege to be Board Chair for CAHME,” said Olatosi. He will be the first African American to hold this position on the CAHME Board.

Ronald Holder, MHA, FACMPE, FACHE, CAE, former Chief Operating Officer of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), will serve as Chair-elect. Holder has extensive experience managing strategic and operational functions for a global association with over 60,000 members. His leadership roles include positions at Baylor Scott & White Health, the University of Louisville, and the University of Kentucky. “I am honored to serve CAHME as the Chair-elect,” said Holder. “Healthcare needs quality leaders now more than ever.”

David Nash, MD, MBA, the Founding Dean Emeritus and Dr. Raymond C. & Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy at Jefferson College of Population Health, will be the new Secretary/Treasurer. Nash is a board-certified internist and an expert in healthcare quality and population health. He has served on several boards in sectors such as insurance, pharmaceuticals, and private equity. “I look forward to working with the Board and our dedicated management team to drive our mission forward and make a positive long-term impact in healthcare,” said Nash.
