Bristol Man Charged With Attempted Murder of Federal Officer

PHILADELPHIA, PA — United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced that Anthony Lombardo, 44 of Bristol, PA was charged Wednesday by criminal complaint and warrant with attempting to murder and forcibly assault, intimidate, and interfere with, a federal law enforcement officer. Lombardo remains hospitalized and in federal custody.

This case is being investigated by the FBI’s Philadelphia Division and the United States Marshals Service.  It is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Justin Ashenfelter.

An indictment, information, or criminal complaint is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
