Bridge Repairs Scheduled on Route 232 in Wrightstown Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that repairs to address underpinning are scheduled on the bridge that carries Route 232 (Second Street Pike) over Branch of Mill Creek in Wrightstown Township, Bucks County.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Monday, February 20, through Friday, March 10, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 232 (Second Street Pike) between Old Anchor Road and Bennett Lane. Built in 1852, the Route 232 structure carries approximately 6,455 vehicles per day.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
