Bridge, Guiderail Repair Planned Next Week on I-95 in Philadelphia and Delaware County

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that regional bridge and guiderail repairs will continue next week on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia and Delaware counties.

The work schedules and locations are:

  • Wednesday, February 8, and Thursday, February 9, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, lane closures will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue (Exit 27) and Betsy Ross Bridge (Exit 26) interchanges in Philadelphia for expansion joint repair;
  • Monday, February 6, through Thursday, February 9, a single lane closure will be in place from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, followed by a double lane closure from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on sections of northbound I-95 between the U.S. 322 (Exit 4) and Philadelphia International Airport (Exit 12) interchanges in Delaware County for guiderail repair.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
