PennDOT has announced planned seal coating and line striping operations on various state highways in Bucks County. These activities will begin on May 8, and continue into late May, running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The work locations are:
- Route 32 (River Road) between Dark Hollow Road and Narrows Hill Road in Bridgeton and Tinicum townships;
- Carversville Road between Route 413 (Durham Road) and Wismer Road in Buckingham and Solebury townships;
- Church Hill Road/Center Hill Road/ Narrows Hill Road between Route 413 (Durham Road) and Route 32 (River Road) in Nockamixon and Bridgeton townships;
- Woodbourne Road/Ellis Road/Fulling Mill Road/Double Woods Road between Langhorne Yardley Road and Summit Trace Road in Middletown Township;
- Dolington Road between Taylorsville Road and Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) in Lower Makefield Township;
- Forest Grove Road between Mill Creek Road and York Road in Buckingham Township;
- Stony Hill Road/Sugan Road between Pineville Road and Old York Road in Buckingham and Solebury townships;
- Main Street/County Line Road between Allentown Road and Church Avenue in West Rockhill Township and Telford Borough;
- Allentown Road between County Line Road and the Lehigh County line in West Rockhill and Milford townships and Trumbauersville Borough;
- Slifer Valley Road between Route 212 (Old Bethlehem Road) and Route 412 (Durham Road) in Springfield Township;
- Lehnenberg Road between Route 412 (Durham Road) and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Springfield and Durham townships; and
- East Sawmill Road between Kinzler Road and Old Bethlehem Road in Haycock Township.
Drivers should allow extra travel time through work areas since backups and delays may occur. Operations are dependent on weather and are subject to change.
PennDOT’s initiative to carry out sealing coating activities and miscellaneous tasks on state highways in Bucks and Chester counties is being executed by Asphalt Maintenance Solutions of Center Valley, Lehigh County. This $6.2 million project is funded entirely by the state.
