Bear Man Arrested in Wilmington, Gun and Drugs Seized During Traffic Stop

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a Bear man on gun and drug charges.

Authorities state that on September 15 at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of Wilmington’s Safe Streets Task Force conducted a vehicle stop in the 900 block of Concord Avenue.  Police made contact with an occupant, Kasreey’l Perry of Bear.  Following a brief investigation, police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun and 7.3 grams of marijuana.  Police took Perry into custody without incident.

Perry was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Firearm while also in Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $1,100 unsecured bail.
